Your Job: Leads the strategic, financial, operational, human resource and clinical activities (with support from facility clinical leaders) for the liver disease and organ transplant programs. Also acts as Vice President of the Methodist Transplant Physicians practice, which includes the Liver institute research activities.
Your Job Requirements:
Masters degree in Business, Nursing or Hospital Administration
Your Job Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include budget development/management, cost management, marketing, strategic planning, setting customer service standards, development of and monitoring of performance measurement/monitoring tools (to include clinical quality outcomes and improvement opportunities, to specifically include SRTR tracking). This position is also accountable for referral management and patient access initiatives.
Develop and manage several teams providing multidisciplinary care for the patient disease categories specific to the organ transplant program while enhancing operational/financial performance and market penetration.
Provide effective business acumen and innovative oversight to develop business opportunities and ensure that budgeting is consistent with planning, programmatic efforts, and available funding.
Ensure adherence and compliance with MHS mission statement, values, service standards, and program goals.
Hold overall accountability for program growth, improving market awareness, patient satisfaction, and clinical efficiency of care.
Working with key leadership, present and implement an annual program plan.
Direct management and hold overall accountability for human resource functions, including position management policies and procedures, performance outcomes, professional development, hiring, and termination.
Establish position performance criteria and hold STAFF accountable to standards.
Develop and foster a team spirit and esprit de corps culture by promoting recognition of individual, team, program, and system accomplishments.
Facilitate referral management and establish a positive partnership and relationships with the community, MHS, and MHS region.
Formulate budget proposals, monitor expenses, advise and recommend changes for budgets, including capital and operating budgets, transplant services budget, transplant research and training budgets, organ acquisition/procurement budgets, and grant, gift/development budgets.
