Description:Join Our Team as a Caregiver at The Arc Western Montana!

The Arc Western Montana is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. As the Lead DSP Float for overnights, you will engage with adult clients with severe developmental disabilities using positive, confident, and reassuring interactions to assist them to live as independently and safely as possible in a community environment. This position will float to multiple houses while in shift and fill in as needed in each home.

Competitive Pay:

· Base Pay: $18.50 per hour.

· Overnight Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour for any hours worked between 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

· Sign-On Bonus: $300 for full-time

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist adults with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living (ADLs).

· Maintain a clean and safe environment.

· Keep accurate electronic records.

· Administer medications.

· Prepare meals and assist with feeding.

· Support community outings and client activities.

· Monitor clients overnight to ensure safety.

· Assist with educational and skill-building activities.

· Use Mandt training for behavior management.

Work Schedules:

· Overnight Shifts: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

· Shift Expectations: This is an AWAKE overnight shift. Employees are to be awake for the entirety of the shift.

Employment Options:

· Full-Time: 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

What We're Looking For:

· Background Check: Must pass all required checks.

· Medication Certification: Must be medication certified through the State of Montana and pass The Arc Medication Practicum

· Driver License: Have held a valid driver license for five (5) years with a relatively clean record for the last 3 years.

· Communication Skills: Effective in English, including electronic communication.

· Drug Testing: Required as per Montana State Law.

· Experience: Preferred but not required; we provide training.
