Associate Director - Engineering Services
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking an Associate Director - Engineering Services for our New England regional team.
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership qualities, be a strategic thinker, and be a decisive decision maker. They will ensure our services are performed within the regulatory, client, and industry standards, while maintaining a technically sound and safe environment.
This position reports to our Senior Field Services Manager. This role is onsite and is based out of our Somerville, MA location.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation, development, and execution of technical services for clients' clean rooms and controlled spaces enterprise wide.
Oversee and ensure services are performed within the regulatory, client, and industry standards, while maintaining a technically sound and safe environment.
Support client decommissioning needs and associated technical offerings.
Manage and perform MassDEP remedial response actions.
Perform LSP services for clients and MA spills.
Conduct regulatory communications and direct work in accordance with MCP requirements.
Author and review MCP submittals.
Develop and maintain a library of SOPs, including developing policies and procedures ensuring the proper and long-lasting use of equipment.
Work collaboratively to develop regional strategies to meet operational goals, ensure compliance, and drive business growth.
Liaise with account managers, transportation/logistics teams, and compliance departments to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
Assist with resource allocation, project scheduling, and operational planning to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of engineering specialists and support staff throughout the region.
Ensure all regional operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT).
Basic Requirements:
BS/BA in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Industrial Safety, or another related field.
Certified Licensed Safety Professional.
15+ years of experience in the environmental engineering field.
Versed in industrial hygiene.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
Demonstrated experience in client relationship management, business development, and service expansion.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and operational performance metrics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
Must have a reliable form of transportation.
