Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes strategic growth opportunities that will expand the Company’s footprint into complementary markets and support its growth objectives and long-term vision with a focus on APAC. Develops strategies and plans to aggressively grow the size of the business through acquisitions in APAC. Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including target identification, evaluation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing. Develops and maintains a funnel pipeline of acquisition targets through market research, strategic fit and gap analysis, financial performance assessment, and review of adjacent markets. Approaches and cultivates relationships with business owners and other key decision makers within the funnel, with a goal of becoming the acquirer of choice. Performs financial modeling, valuation analysis, and synergy assessments to support decision-making. Leads the due diligence process, overseeing and coordinating cross-functional efforts, including finance, legal, operations, human resources, and IT. Identifies risks and opportunities during the diligence process and recommends strategies for mitigation. Leads the integration planning and execution for acquired companies, ensuring alignment with company strategy and maximizing synergies. Partners with functional leaders to implement integration best practices and monitor progress to achieve financial and operational goals. Prepares and presents recommendations and reports to executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Identifies expansion opportunities and explores attractive adjacent markets with actionable entry points for Hyperion. Delivers toll gate documents for new attractive adjacent market opportunities on an opportunistic basis. Monitors the key macro-level trends and competitive landscapes for all businesses and highlights shifts in the marketplace through timely reports. Conducts economic and industry research to identify opportunities in support of the strategic plan and portfolio strategy. Develops and maintains strong external relationships with industry leaders, segment analysts, distributors, suppliers, consultants, and operating company customers. Establishes beneficial relationships with outside resources including investment banks and members of the financial community, leveraging KKR’s relationships where appropriate. Monitors the competitive landscape and major competitors, provides updates and recommendations to leadership. Qualifications

5+ years of experience in strategy development and strategic planning processes, M&A transactions, valuation, due diligence, and post-merger integration. A proven track record of leading the pursuit and successful conclusion of middle market transactions both domestically and internationally. Background in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategy/business development/M&A within an operating company. Technical Skills/Physical Requirements
Strong innate leadership skills - must possess the presence and maturity to represent the office of the CEO. Passionate and dynamic leader with the energy and ability to work effectively across a complex, global organization. Keen ability to think deeply and quantitatively about business problems, breaking down problems and presenting solutions while evaluating the pros and cons of each option. Exceptional analytical and strategic orientation – demonstrated experience building complex financial models, performing financial analysis, assimilating multiple datapoints, and quickly developing data-driven solutions. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple projects (at various stages) at a given time. The successful candidate should be international in their outlook and understand the complexities of the international nature of the company’s plans. Technical understanding with industrial products, ability to grasp basics of technical products/concepts and build credibility. A demonstrated ability to work with and influence senior executives in an entrepreneurial environment. Board level interaction strongly preferred. Strong executive maturity with the confidence to advocate a point of view but with an in-check ego to foster open communications and development. Travel up to 40% required.
