Job Description
We count on our Overnight Mental Health Technicians/Community Coordinators to compassionately support and mentor our clients throughout their treatment program while specializing in providing care oversight during overnight hours. We are seeking those who are passionate to help those in need and provide hope. Because our clients have varying mental health diagnoses and behavioral disorders, adequate training will be provided to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care that we can provide. You will join and support a network of trained case managers, therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists who are helping us on our mission to help individuals with mental health disorders achieve a life of meaning and wellness.
We are looking to fill both full time and part times roles. Ability to work during the weekend is preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Overnight Community Coordinator will be assigned projects, based on his/her level of expertise, that include any, or all the following job responsibilities.
Coordinates and transports clients in the event of an emergency, ensuring participant safety at all times and providing emergency services with appropriate information pertinent to the clients continuation of care.
Utilizes intervention and communication skills in working with clients.
Rigorously adheres to all Joint Commission policies and procedures, including Waived Testing, Infection Prevention and Control, as well as Emergency Management and Environment of Care procedures.
Proficiently navigate and utilize the BestNotes electronic health record system to document client activities effectively
Collaborate with the program nurse and clinical team regarding medication management, and monitor and report client behavior with medication side effects. Monitor and document client self-administration medications while coaching clients in self-management and documenting medications in accordance with the organization’s policy on medication use.
Responsible for the overall integrity of the residences, ensuring optimal cleanliness at all times and keeping the area hygienic. This role involves substantial attention to detail regarding the Environment of Care and maintaining a sanitary residence.
Conduct frequent observation rounds to ensure client safety using the VisibleHand rounding system, document client behavior during overnight hours. Effectively and correctly report these in daily passdowns.
Participate in safety drills, emergency drills, and proficiently elucidate the correct locations of fire extinguishers, emergency evacuation diagrams, exit routes, evacuation procedures, and first-aid kits.
Accurately record inventories as required (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly) of supplies in the residence including but not limited to: Cleaning supplies, Waived Testing supplies, Office Supplies, Personal Protective Equipment supplies, and Over The Counter Medications.
Effectively maintain alertness and vigilance during overnight hours at all times to ensure client safety.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
Successful completion of Criminal Background Check through a CDSS/DOJ Bureau of Criminal Information & Analysis LiveScan, and ADP Selective Services Screening.
Education Requirements: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; preferably with some college completed/in progress.
This position requires the ability to drive a company vehicle and to be covered under our company’s vehicle insurance, those qualifications are:
- Current driver license with 4 years of clean driving history;
- At least 21 years of age.
CPR/First Aid Certification.
Current T.B. clearance.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 20 lbs.
