JOB SUMMARY The Warehouse Manager oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods; ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met; takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock; plans the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organizes special requirements for certain stock, such as damaged and oversized products; ensures productivity targets are met and maintain computerized administration and automated storage and retrieval systems. RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor and manage the daily processing of all Purchase Orders and Stock Purchase Orders to ensure they flow through the Admin and Back Office Macola systems correctly to Order Close. Ensure product is warehoused and disbursed to the picking line within the prescribed time frame, and systematically processing all Instawarehouse Purchase Orders to completion. Ensures daily warehouse order processing is successfully executed and Pick Tickets/Products are shipped out from our warehouse. Management of the receiving, inventory control & the returns department including the monitoring of the Direct and True Bins to properly issue out for accurate inventory and processing orders to close. Assist with expediting customer service orders and monitoring orders and inventory for order completion. Input data, provide training, supervise staff, oversee workflow & resolve problems. Assist Customer Service Manager(s) in resolving any shipment or returns issues. Enforce proper use and maintenance of any Instawarehouse equipment – motorized or other. Ensure proper delivery and pickup of inventory using appropriate shipping sources. Ensure that the Instawarehouse is properly staffed at all times during normal business hours or other hours as may be deemed necessary by management. Ensure that all Instawarehouse floor areas, offices, front walkways, dock and dumpster areas are clean, neat and free of any debris. Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met. Train staff and monitoring their performance and progress. QUALIFICATIONS: Education High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Experience 2 to 5 years of Supply Chain/Warehouse and Management experience. Proficiency with various Warehouse Management platforms and Inventory systems. Computer applications using MS office specifically excel, word, and PowerPoint. Possess or ability to pass forklift certification. Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work comfortably under pressure. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize individual and staff workloads to meet deadlines. Effectively communicate with internal and external customers (management, coworkers, and suppliers). Ability to write short correspondence. Ability to accurately spell. Ability to speak and write English in a clear, understandable manner. Ability to accurately follow detailed procedures and processes. Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with a diverse group of people. Ability to work independently and with a group on various on-going projects simultaneously. Must be able to perform basic arithmetic calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentage functions). Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to carry out instructions furnished in both oral and written form. Ability to plan and organize time and projects efficiently. Maintain a professional working relationship with customers and co-workers at all times. Ability to act in an ethical, honest and professional manner at all times. Desire to work independently as well as in a team environment. Maintain discretion with all company information regarding customers, pricing, products, and procedures. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to stand, move and walk 75%+ of the day. Must have the ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment (hot in the summer and cold in the winter). Must be able to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds. Must be able to bend, reach and stoop. Must be able to look at a computer screen for periods of time and type. Requires the ability to read written instructions, reports and other documentation. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
