The Kraft Heinz Massillon factory is engaged in the manufacture of frozen food products, particularly frozen dinner entrees, spinach dip, and kids’ meals under the brand names of Smart Ones, Smart Made, Devour, Kraft, TGI Fridays, and Crave. All items produced are frozen and under strict supervision of FDA, ODA, two (2) on-site federal USDA inspectors, and company quality inspectors. The Massillon, Ohio factory currently employs approximately 370 salaried, non-union hourly, and union hourly employees.
The factory operates production lines on day and afternoon shifts, with the midnight shift dedicated to sanitation, maintenance, and warehouse activities. All products are micro-tested in the on-site Quality Assurance Laboratory. The products manufactured at the Massillon factory are distributed throughout the United States and Canada through retail and warehouse club outlets.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Support and promote quality processes and implementation of new or improved quality programs
Interface with plant manufacturing personnel as needed, coordinating and assisting in Quality and Sanitation initiatives
Conduct floor audits and provide feedback to employees and supervisors
Back up all areas of the quality team as needed, including Microbiology, administrator, floor auditors, receiving quality
Support Golden rule/internal audit program; serve as standard bearer as needed
Support KHMS Implementation and Maintenance; serve as chapter owner as needed
Help maintain Internal Audit program, including coordination of quality programs and preparation of reports of inspection
Manage execution of site Food Safety Quality Program (QRMP) and HACCP programs
Support document control measures, backing up document control owner
Conduct and follow through on all Corrective Action and Preventative Actions
Provide support in consumer complaint investigation and tracking
Utilization of SAP including BI Reporting and input of COA results
Verify there are no testing equipment issues on the lines
Participate in daily finished product grading
Support Mock Recalls as needed
Support and help develop plant FSQ initiatives
Present plant FSQ initiatives in large group/plant meeting settings
Support new hire FSQ initiatives
Quality Assurance:
Ensures all products manufactured comply with the Quality Assurance Program and policies reviewed during the on-the-job training applicable to this specific operation function.
Safety:
Will follow instructions delivered during the training that explained the fundamentals of the Kraft Heinz Safety Process and will keep himself/herself and others away from harm while performing duties. Will adhere to LOTO policy and procedures.
Work on all shifts is expected. Weekend and Holiday work will be required. Schedule is based on a 7 day/week production; therefore, workdays may fluctuate from week to week based on production.
