As the Vice President, Product Marketing, you are a strategic thinker and compelling storyteller who is highly experienced in leading product marketing teams and devising go-to-market strategies that drive growth. You have extensive experience in enterprise B2B marketing, as well as proven success in collaborating with product teams and enabling sales to communicate our unique value proposition. You have experience developing strategic GTM programs for software products serving multiple global industries, and you have successfully launched high growth products in your career. You deeply understand market dynamics, customer needs, the competitive landscape and product levers to drive overall positioning and messaging for PG Forsta’s platform and products.
This leader will report directly to our Chief Marketing Officer and will oversee a team of product marketing leaders serving healthcare, health plans, retail, financial services, market research and other industries.
What You'll Do:
Strategic narrative, messaging, and positioning: Lead a team of product marketers to craft positioning and messaging (including market, company, platform, product) that effectively communicates the value and impact of our products and solutions, while connecting back to the organization’s mission and vision.
Product Launch: Act as a cross-functional leader for the organization’s product development lifecycle, playing a key role during the concept, build, pilot and launch phase of all products. Connects the dots across an extensive product portfolio that serves multiple industries. Guide the product marketing team’s strategy to launch new products and package existing offerings, including homing in on the ideal customer profile, creating market-facing messaging, collateral, and launch activities.
Market Insights: Evaluate industry trends, competitors, regulations, and standards, and how they apply to PG Forsta’s overall product portfolio, informing product development, packaging and pricing strategy.
Sales enablement: Build partnerships with sales leaders across the enterprise to ensure that the sales organization understands the customer and can advocate for PG Forsta and our solutions. Partner with sales training to grow comprehension of industry challenges, target personas, and product capability and features.
Demand Generation: Develop the go-to-market strategies that guide marketing and sales campaigns that drive pipeline and growth. Work closely with growth and sales leaders to prioritize and execute tightly integrated campaigns between marketing, business development representatives, and account managers.
What You Bring:
15+ years’ Product Marketing experience, with significant experience in B2B (SaaS preferred) and managing a portfolio of products across multiple industries and personas. Understanding of complex buying processes and cycles.
Understanding of the ability of customer experience (CX) to drive strategic initiatives and outcomes.
A strong people manager with a minimum of 3+ years of second-line leadership experience (a manager of managers), with proven skill in mentoring, hiring, and developing leaders.
Solid ability to use data to problem-solve and think strategically. Ability to conduct research and shape the problem space in ambiguous settings.
Collaborative approach to work with cross-functional teams. Able to communicate with technical and business experts at all levels of the organization.
Strong presentation skills and ability to deal with ambiguity. Confident personality and strong interpersonal skills with track record for influencing outside span of control.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $200,000-$250,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
