As a Manufacturing Technician, you will adhere to cGMP and ISO standards and guidelines, assembling cartridges and reagent kit components while following manufacturing SOPs. Your role will involve organizing and maintaining the floor area and supplies used during work performed. You will work both independently and as part of an assembly line team, ensuring a safe work environment with respect to chemicals and equipment. You will resolve line issues, suggest improvements, and operate all manufacturing line equipment. You will also adhere to the manufacturing schedule, complete manufacturing work orders in a timely manner, review completed device manufacturing records, identify and correct errors, and submit finished documentation for quality release. Additionally, you will serve as a role model for cGMP manufacturing, assist with special projects, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Follow cGMP and ISO standards or guidelines as they apply to manufacturing.
- Assemble cartridges and reagent kit components.
- Follow manufacturing SOPs.
- Organize and maintain floor area and supplies used during work performed.
- Work independently and as part of an assembly line team.
- Maintain a safe work environment with respect to chemicals and equipment.
- Resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
- Operate all manufacturing line equipment.
- Adhere to manufacturing schedule and complete manufacturing work orders in a timely manner.
- Review completed device manufacturing records and work orders, identify and correct errors, and submit finished documentation for quality release.
- Serve as a role model for cGMP manufacturing.
- Assist with special projects as requested and perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma required.
- 6 months of manufacturing experience needed.
- GATE Program - Entry Level - No experience needed, just need to pass assessment with 85% or higher.
- Target candidates from retail, high school graduates, food service, and warehouse backgrounds.
This is a contract-to-hire role in a large new facility, offering international opportunities once permanent. 401k accrual starts from the first day of the TEMP start date. Upon conversion to a permanent role, there will be highly competitive benefits, including a pay increase. There are ample opportunities for growth, especially in the coming year.
Work EnvironmentThe role involves working in a clean room environment. PPE such as gowns and booties are required. No medical certifications are needed.
