Overview:
Plans, designs and constructs manufacturing facilities and related structures. Determines facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources and structural design. Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvements.

Major Position Responsibilities:

  1. Supervises the development and implementation of industrial manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency.
  2. Ensures the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively.
  3. Responsible for the development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process.
  4. Implements effective manufacturing engineering methods and provides technical guidance and acts as a resource for manufacturing engineers.
  5. Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.
  6. Supervises the evaluation of products based on specifications and quality standards.
  7. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Required Education: Associates degree and 5-7 years’ experience OR Equivalent combination of relevant education &/or experience.
  2. Discipline/Major: General Engineering or specialized Engineering degree preferred.
  3. Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 5-7 years of experience in a relevant function. Must have experience in leadership roles.
  4. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Leadership skills, 5S methodology, As-Is analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, Failure analysis, Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), Integrity engineering, Lean manufacturing, Process integration, Production engineering, Rapid prototyping, Statistical process control, Value engineering, Workflow optimization, Workload analysis, CAD software, Computer-aided engineering (CAE) software, Oral and written communication, Critical thinking, Analytical thinking.
  5. Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Pay Range (USD): 80,080.00 - 148,720.00

Additional Compensation: Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.
