Responsibilities: The Leader for Diabetes Care Manufacturing will be responsible to provide administrative leadership and develop the technical expertise of manufacturing employees. This individual is responsible for assuring quality behavior in the production area and suggesting technical improvements for their areas. This role is Direct line supervision for Line Leaders and Operators. Ensure strict compliance with established policies/procedures (Safety, Production Procedures, Sanitization, Gowning, etc.). Ensure Operators are trained appropriately. Take ownership for implementation of countermeasures associated with audits, observations, inspection findings, and deviations. Participate in planning of formulation/ filling operations. Network with various areas to verify components and equipment are available for future orders. Identify issues to Team Leader and Manager (if applicable). Responsible for the coaching, development, and performance evaluation of Operators. Act as both administrator and technical leader for operations, setting a good example through demonstrated knowledge of procedures, compliance with quality systems, and use of proper technique. Responsible for shop floor execution as it relates to business plan, GMP conformance, and OSSCE. Act as an advocate for continuously improving the area through Lean Methodology and practices. Basic Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely, and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals. Completion of Post Offer Exam or Completion of Work Simulation if applicable. Must be available to attend meetings on other shifts as business needs occurs. Some allergens are present in the Parenteral plant.
