About the Team
The Manufacturing Technology Group is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in a metal and wood manufacturing environment for our Port Orchard, WA manufacturing facility. The Manufacturing Technology Group works together with other departments to plan, direct, and coordinate activities relating to quality, tooling, and engineering to ensure efficient manufacturing operations across the organization.
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work with the Director of Manufacturing Technology and with other operational departments, to identify and implement continuous improvement projects to maintain high levels of manufacturing product quality, reduce costs, and improve overall manufacturing efficiency. You will be based in one of our Port Orchard, WA manufacturing facility. You’ll have a direct hand in accomplishing our #1 goal – a successful project in every way.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements.
- Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflows.
- Researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products.
- Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
- Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
- Maintaining research and activity documentation and preparing reports.
Necessary Skills
- Proven manufacturing experience (Metal manufacturing preferred)
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
- Fixture design.
- CAM programming.
- CAD design.
- Experience with Excel and Word documents
- Ability to read Production Drawings.
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation, regular attendance and punctuality are critical
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer. Work will require individual to enter plant areas where performance factors such as: heat, noise, dust, lifting of materials, and working around equipment will be encountered.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $97,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on tenure, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
