Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the manufacturing processes within the company.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures for Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Warranty Claims, Maintenance, Testing and Engineering related activities within manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products or processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste and improve overall operational performance. This includes time studies and part identification.
  • Monitor and analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to maintain a safe and environmentally friendly work environment.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of new equipment, technologies, and automation systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.
  • Develop and manage the manufacturing engineering budget, ensuring optimal allocation or resources and cost control.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering field, required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineer role.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and project management.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and equipment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel & bend.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
