Job Description

Job Title: Pipefitter - Manufacturing facility

Location: Piedmont, South Carolina

Pay Rate: $23/HR

Shift: 8am-5PM

Position Overview: As a Pipefitter with us, you’ll play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, piping systems in various manufacturing setting and industrial settings **Needs to be able to cut conduit piping to protect electrical wiring. We are setting up new equipment in a manufacturing plant and we are setting up the equipment**

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems.
Install, assemble, and maintain pipes and related equipment for racking systems
Measure, cut, and thread pipes using various tools and equipment
Needs to be able to cut conduit piping to protect electrical wiring.
Troubleshoot and repair leaks and malfunctions
Collaborate with other trades and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a commercial Pipefitter or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques and tools.
Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training is a plus.
