DAC Engineered Products is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team. The Manufacturing Engineer & CNC Programmer will be responsible for supporting the production of aerospace components fabricated from both metallic and non-metallic based materials. Responsibilities will relate to applying a working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process. Develops production processes, inspection criteria, and testing criteria that will ensure product quality through the different processes. Design and implement tooling and continuous improvements into production processes.The successful candidate must be "hands on" and able to work both independently and collaboratively, bringing their knowledge of manufacturing to deliver engineering solutions and process improvements. With an extensive history in knowledge and sales, DAC-EP Engineered Products brings forth a legacy of excellence, poised to shape the future of aerospace engineering.BENEFITS:Health Insurance PTOVacation Time401K13 Paid Holidays Tools provided Small company culture Duties & Responsibilities:Write, review, train on, and support production with respect to SOP documents, product work instructions, and inspection processes.Develop and maintain Manufacturing Orders (MO), Bill of Operations (BOO), and Bill of Materials (BOM) within electronic ERP system.Showcase a strong understanding of CNC programming, tool selection, inspection, and machining processes.Collaborate with Design Engineers and technicians when needed to understand product and tooling requirements for products in the design and analysis phases.Perform Materials Review Board (MRB) reviews to evaluate and troubleshoot product or process concerns and progress corrective actions.Communicate effectively with operators, engineers, and team leaders.Support continuous improvement initiatives to products and/or processes via gap analysis and time studies.Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills.Performs other related duties as required.Requirements:Four-year degree and/or relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.5+ years of manufacturing engineering experienceStrong background in SolidCAM/Mastercam programmingProficiency with Microsoft Office productsProficiency in SolidWorksDAC-EP IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY/AFFIRMATIVE ACTION EMPLOYER.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected Veteran Status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
