Greenleaf Corporation is hiring: Manufacturing Manager in Saegertown

Job Summary

We are looking for a Manufacturing Manager to head up operations on our indexable inserts facility in Saegertown, PA. We need someone with cutting tool or machining experience and should be familiar with medium to high volume production.  Some experience with specialty grinding is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing floor is in compliance with all safety regulations.
• Manage a team of 7 people responsible for all departments, including safety, quality, planning, maintenance and pressing, sintering, grinding, coating and inspection.
• The candidate must possess a strong quality focus and champion for improving productivity, automating our manufacturing process and driving continuous improvement.
• Meet production schedules.
• Maintain plant KPI’s.
• Mentor and train staff members.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, manufacturing, or engineering
• Management and continual improvement process experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Looking for a technical manager with previous manger or supervisory experience
• Must be a hands on manager
