Manufacturing Scheduler
Position Type: Full-time, Exempt, Salary
Reports to: Vice President - Operations

Essential Functions:
- Utilize Primavera P6 software (or similar company/client mandated software) in developing manufacturing project schedules.
- Create, implement, and maintain standard Primavera P6 schedule templates based on best practices for business units, products, and solution projects.
- Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
- Translates and arranges orders into a sequential work schedule.
- Analyze production rate from historical data to use in the future manufacturing schedules.
- Support Project and Production Managers with schedule analysis to identify critical path and potential project impacts throughout project execution.
- Development and maintenance of project specific resource and cost loaded baseline schedules.
- Incorporate multi-disciplinary schedules from project subcontractors.
- Work with project controls to ensure alignment of work breakdown to budget.
- Leverage P6 mobile application to increase collaboration with field and site construction work.
- Develop and update weekly short interval schedule working with superintendents and field engineers.
- Regularly analyze critical path, cost loading, schedule content, use of relationships, constraints, and milestones to determine impacts and recommend work-around.
- Provide reports to stakeholders based on original plan to forecast cost variances and risk analysis.
- Develop and maintain a high-level actual vs scheduled performance and similar metrics to keep executive management informed on project progress.
- Conduct manhour tracking for labor cost control on all phases of manufacturing.
- Analyze production rate from historical data to use in the future project schedule.
- Develops project timelines and schedules.
- Monitors progress and identifies delays.
- Identifies & communicates milestone check points.
- Attends review meetings.
- Adjusts schedules upon approval from PM/DPM
- Schedules manufacturing sequence of operations.
- Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing / assembly environment. This role routinely uses standard construction-type equipment such as ladders and hoists as well as office equipment such as machines. Some of the work will require exposure to loud noises or fumes in the facility.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. The first shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project and/or construction scheduling; and
- Associate degree in management or related discipline, 3 additional years of experience in industrial project and/or construction scheduling may substitute for degree.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or management related discipline; and
- Experience in the power, oil & gas, data center and / or district energy industries.
- Project scheduling certification (PMI-SP)
- Primavera P6 certification
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
