Our client, a growing and stable electronics manufacturing company near Schaumburg, IL is looking to hire an operations manager. This is a highly visible full time employee position with excellent benefits, career growth and competitive compensation.

Areas of responsibilities:

  • Oversee the manufacturing of new products.
  • Production Planning and Scheduling.
  • Supplier Management and Purchasing
  • Warehousing management and Shipping & Receiving.
  • Service & Repair of RMA products.
  • Inventory Management and Optimization.
  • Manage Facilities & Equipment Maintenance.
  • Ensure all data is captured in ERP System.
  • Budgeting responsibilities.
  • Manage and optimize cost and labor estimates for proposals.
  • Management of Production, Planning and Procurement staff.

What you need to bring to this winning team:

  • 5+ years of operations management.
  • Proficient with electronics assembly is big plus.
  • Knowledge of financial estimates, and budgets.
  • Highly developed leadership & communications skills.
  • Strong critical process knowledge and systems operation skills.
  • Project management principles and application knowledge.
  • Analytical & computer applications including MS Office.
  • Experience with ERP software.
  • Associate Degree in a technical discipline is required, Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering or related field of study preferred.
