Senior Manufacturing Engineer Job at Resonetics in Dayton

Overview:

Senior Manufacturing Engineer Technical lead for multi-disciplined teams to drive eligible processes through the transfer from development to production of laser micro manufacturing equipment. Control software development/optimization ahead of production readiness and validations. Perform/manage DOEs where process assessment optimization is required. Generate project reports to clearly demonstrate project status on regular intervals. Process Validations. Process Documentation and training where applicable (Manufacturing Process, Manufacturing, Setup, Preventive Maintenance etc.). Participate in the review of incoming orders for applicability to existing capabilities and determine any potentially necessary alternatives. Monitor ongoing development programs in the Applications group for manufacturability and offer assistance as necessary to achieve a smooth and timely transfer to production. Participate in customer conferences as needed. Develop or assist in design, costing, training, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements include a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering or closely related field and 3 years of work experience in the job offered or related field of Manufacturing Engineering.

Must have the following:

3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment serving in an engineering capacity.

3 years of experience working with automated measurement systems.
