Summary:

A global leading building materials company is looking for a new Sr Manufacturing Engineer for their aluminum division. This is a full time position in Monett, MO.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for equipment and processes in assigned areas.
• Develop and maintain written procedures, work instructions, and labor standards through time studies and process observations.
• Analyze data to identify process improvements and collaborate on best practices.
• Research, propose, and implement manufacturing equipment and technologies to enhance process efficiency.
• Manage projects, including specifying, selecting, justifying, and implementing capital equipment, while overseeing documentation and project timelines.
• Participate in safety programs and cross-functional teams, providing manufacturing insights to aid decision-making and design for manufacturability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field); Master’s preferred
• 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing, including capital equipment project management
• Proficiency in CAD, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems
• Background in process optimization, root cause analysis, and maintaining labor standards
• Experience in planning, budgeting, and executing capital projects
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven process improvements
• Effective communicator skilled in cross-functional collaboration, documentation, and presentations
• Commitment to safety with knowledge of relevant industry standards (ISO, FDA)
