This is not our summer internship program, that will be posted at a later date. **This position is 100% ONSITE at ESAero in San Luis Obispo, CA** Company Overview: Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. is seeking Interns with a background in Manufacturing Engineering to join our team for our Fall/Winter Internship program. ESAero is a growing aerospace company in the San Luis Obispo area and provides various services which include but are not limited to rapid system development, on-demand niche engineering, hands-on development/testing, and UAS aerospace system manufacturing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Manufacturing Engineer Intern: Assist in all engineering efforts: Requirements, Design, Built, Test, DeliveryHelp to create solutions to complex technical problemsBuild and set up equipmentAssist in the creation of prototypesAssist in creating build documentationUtilize machining tools to modify and create partsAssist with Work PacketsIdeal intern hours 20hrs or more per weekRequired Qualifications and Skills:Current or recent engineering studentDemonstrated clear communication & writing skillsDemonstrated application of engineering knowledge and skillsWillingness to "roll up your sleeves" and make it happenConsistently abide by all safety requirementsStandard Benefits: Casual dress code, Free snacksAmazing location to live, work, and playESAero is an equal opportunity employer.
