Manufacturing Quality Manager Job at STMW Manufacturing in Taylor

We are seeking 1 qualified candidate available to work on the following days and times:

· 1st Shift: Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the quality control processes within our manufacturing operations. This role requires a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and a strong commitment to quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quality management, particularly within an ISO 9001:2015 certified environment. Must be familiar with the QMS system and its requirements. Other objectives will be required based on product development and company growth initiatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Manage a team of up to 5 Quality Technicians- growing.

· Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced semiconductor products that meet or exceed customer requirements.

· Process owner of Quality reporting and tracking for: CAPA’s, NCMR’s, FAI’s and MRB Receiving.

· Must be very familiar with the QMS system.

· Supervise and lead the quality control team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.

· Conduct regular audits of production processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

· Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.

· Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.

· Maintain and update quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and reports.

· Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for non-conforming products.

· Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding quality issues and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.

· Stay updated with industry standards and best practices in quality control and semiconductor manufacturing.

· Responsible for streamlining processes to minimize costs, decrease errors/deficiencies.

· Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.

· Minimizes waste in materials, manpower, equipment, and other resources.

· Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.

· Perform in the fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing business.

· Work in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented environment.

· Apply a get-it-done, and get-it-done-right mindset coupled with attention to detail.

· Apply proactive and reactive problem-solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within the semiconductor industry.

· Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and their application in a manufacturing environment.

· Proven leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Experience with quality management software and statistical analysis tools.

· Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQA) is a plus.
