Aerospace Manufacturing Manager Job at Power Systems Mfg., LLC in Jupiter

LOCATION: Jupiter, FL Area

STATUS: Salary Exempt

Build and lead the Manufacturing team responsible for the manufacture of advanced aerospace aftermarket parts. The team will be comprised of aerospace manufacturing and quality engineers and will work closely together with the IGT Product Engineering team. The responsibilities include assessing and approving special processes, and developing a capable vendor base.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree

Skills/Experience

• 12+ years of experience in advanced aerospace hot section airfoil design, materials and manufacturing processes
• 10+ years of applicable experience in the aerospace industry or related manufacturing/repair environment
• 8+ years of team leadership or project management experience
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of jet engine materials and processing
• Understanding of jet engine airfoil component design and operation
• Understanding of technical drawings, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD & T), industrial and material specification
• Must be self-motivated and possess a demonstrated ability to handle multiple issues in a responsive and decisive manner
• Must be a detail-oriented, high energy, self-starter with the ability to drive the successful completion of projects within specified time frames
• Proficiency with MS office Professional (Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint)
• Strong written and oral communication skills required
• Process and Team-oriented; able to work with a diverse workforce
• Trustworthy, quick learning, innovative and reliable
• Willing and able to travel as required
