As the Bio-Rad Manufacturing Engineer I, you will provide engineering support for manufacturing equipment used in diagnostic reagent bulking, filling, labeling and packaging. These manufacturing processes range from high precision benchtop scale in the manufacturing and QC labs to small vial filling, labeling and packaging events on semi-automated machines with batch sizes in the thousands.The Bio-Rad Global Supply Chain`s Manufacturing teams focus on building high quality products for our customers in support of testing in clinical diagnostic labs and life sciences research. The Manufacturing teams are located in the Americas, Europe, and Singapore and produce regulated and non-regulated products that range from reagent kits to small and large instruments, plastics, and consumables. They also collaborate and work seamlessly with our supply chain to meet, and exceed, our customers` expectations.This role is based in our Woodinville, WA facilities.How You'll Make An Impact: Troubleshoot and investigate equipment issues. Provide engineering support for capital equipment projects, automation initiatives, OEE, and continuous improvement opportunities. Design and execute equipment qualifications. Create and update equipment Standar Operating Procedures. What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Industry experience supporting manufacturing equipment in a cGMP/FDA/ISO regulated industry preferred. Experience or knowledge of the following is also preferred; Capital Projects from justification to sustaining OEE/Uptime measuring and improvement initiatives IOPQ Lab experience like fermentation, extraction, purification, Lean/6 sigma FDA/GxP Automated filling/sealing/packaging Label printing, applying Barcode printing, grading Lyophilization Clean rooms Bio Safety Total Rewards Package: At Bio-Rad, we`re empowered by our purpose and recognize that our employees are as well.
