MAU is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for General Electric in Greenville, SC As aCNC Manufacturing Engineer, you will establish internal processes that safely ensure the production of high-quality products that meet compliance and project requirements. Drive continuous improvement across the product lines by owning project timelines, improving product quality, and resolving technical/process issues. Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget. This is a contract position with direct-hire potential. Benefits Package Health Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Contract with direct hire potential Shift Information Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of manufacturing experience or an associate degree from an accredited college or university 3+ years of experience in production processes and equipment CNC grinding or programming experience General Requirements Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities Proven ability to influence others and lead small teams Experience leading initiatives with moderate scope and impact Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Deep understanding of complex and technical concepts within your field Strong knowledge of technologies intersecting with your technical expertise Hands-on experience with equipment and machinery Essential Functions Provide support to CNC Machining Cells, including troubleshooting, improving equipment reliability, ensuring process consistency, and addressing tooling or minor programming needs Manage projects and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with plant performance metrics Lead and drive qualification processes as needed Ensure engineering designs and technical data comply with customer CTQs and regulatory requirements Develop and improve technical work instructions for manufacturing processes Maintain and enhance process documentation, enforcing standards to ensure consistent quality Implement, sustain, and continuously improve 5S methodology in assigned areas, promoting a culture of operational excellence Provide technical support for NPI (New Product Introduction) and repair processes, ensuring alignment with quality and program standards Lead analytical and design activities using established technologies and methods Mentor team members within areas of expertise Collaborate on developing new solutions, either independently or in a team environment, based on established precedents Communicate technical knowledge across functions within your area of expertise Perform additional related duties as required
