Join us in our mission to protect and enhance global food and animal safety!This role follows an onsite model to accommodate business needs while maintaining team collaboration.Summary:Leads team responsible for the production of the Soleris vial, ampoule, and supplement product lines.Responsible for the teams' performance in meeting production goals (i.e., safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity).This individual will be required to routinely partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate, troubleshoot and implement corrective and preventative actions within the Soleris production lines.Supervises employees who operate equipment used to manufacture products.Maintains inventory records of raw materials used in batch manufacturing.Ensures accurate and up-to-date batch records and data sheets on batches in process.Oversee in-process tests (such as hardness, weight, variation, pH and moisture content) to ensure that batches meet specifications.Resolves equipment and product problems. Incumbents in this job family are typically responsible for directing and guiding the work of teams and/or individuals.Typically incumbents would be responsible for performance reviews, pay reviews, and may have hire/fire decision making authority.In limited instances, incumbents in this management job level category may also be responsible for a functional area and not have people reporting to them.There are different levels available that provide clarity on contribution expectations based on knowledge, application, problem solving, impact, collaboration, and supervision.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Soleris Manufacturing team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members. Performs annual performance assessments and provides career development to team members.Ensure that production schedules and product realization are completed on time to prevent stock outs.Collaborate with Product Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering for investigation into and resolution of technical issues arising from CAPAs, customer feedback, audits, deviations, quality control testing, etc.Assists in the development of annual departmental budgets, including staffing, capital, and operating expenses.Assists in creation and maintenance of capacity models and monitor OEE of equipment.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and quality management systems.Administers corporate policies and ensures adherence to by team members.Execute Standard Operating Procedures to meet current cGMP / ISO / MIOSHA / MDEQ or other regulatory requirements. Ensure all staff are current in training requirements.Collaborate with the Supply Chain team and RMQC to evaluate and select suppliers/vendors for manufacturing raw materials.Lead special projects as assigned by Manager.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in supply chain, Manufacturing, Biology, or related fieldMinimum three years of experience in Manufacturing ManagementExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Please press Apply to submit your application.WHO IS NEOGEN:From farm to fork, we offer solutions to enhance the quality, quantity and safety of the global food supply.
