D6 Inc is hiring: Fabricator- Manufacturing Technician in Sherman

D6 is looking for a skilled technician to join our team. We are manufacturing large scale recycling units for communities to use throughout the United States. The technician will collaborate with the team to build, install, and upgrade the community recycling units. Attention to detail will be crucial to providing our customers with the product they are expecting. Responsibilities:

• Welding - Steel, Aluminum (Certified Welder)
• Metal Cutting – Plasma, Torch, Bandsaw, Miter saw.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read CAD drawings for fabrication.
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to meet tight deadlines.
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Technician or similar technical role.
• Proficient computer skills
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to travel with overnight stays.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow assembly instructions accurately and work with minimal supervision.

Skills

• Welding, metalworking, and precision measuring
• Ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
• Capability to identify and troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process.
• Thoroughness in work to ensure accuracy in cutting, welding, and assembling components.
• Basic knowledge of the use of hand tools.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Current forklift certification or the ability to be certified.
• Must be a team player and work well with others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
