In this role, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing electrical systems and components for our autonomous vessels. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and naval architects, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our maritime platforms. ResponsibilitiesDesign and optimize electrical systems and components for use in production line environments, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and ease of manufacturing.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define the functional requirements and specifications of electrical systems, taking into account production constraints and manufacturing processes.Conduct research, analysis, and testing to validate the performance and suitability of electrical designs for use on production lines.Develop and implement test regimens, hardware, and software to evaluate the functionality and performance of electrical systems during production.Create detailed work instructions to guide the installation and assembly of electrical components in a production line. Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic activities to identify and resolve electrical issues or malfunctions encountered during production.Work closely with software engineers to integrate software controls and interfaces into electrical systems, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility with production line processes.Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering, manufacturing technology, and automation systems, and apply this knowledge to optimize production line performance and efficiency.Participate in project planning and provide technical expertise and guidance to support the successful execution of production line initiatives.QualificationsBachelor's Electrical Engineering or a related field. Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and their application in production line environments. Experience working in manufacturing or production environments, with a focus on designing and implementing electrical systems for use on production lines. Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical systems and manufacturing processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a fast-paced production environment. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic production line environment, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
