Manufacturing Quality Manager

Amotec is currently supporting a search for a Quality Manager. Located in Coffee County, GA, our client is a leading manufacturer in the aerospace and industrial sectors. As the Quality Manager, you will oversee quality control activities to ensure products meet all internal and customer requirements, including AS 9100 standards. This role is vital for the organization’s success and requires effective interaction with customers, suppliers, and employees.

Quality Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead quality and continuous improvement programs, including Six Sigma and SPC.
• Analyze statistical data and product specifications to set quality standards.
• Address customer quality concerns and track corrective actions.
• Supervise inspection and testing staff to ensure productivity and integrity.
• Manage internal and supplier audits in compliance with the QMS.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to resolve non-conformances.
• Maintain quality control standards and oversee inspection activities.

Quality Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Material Science, or related field; MS or MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in a quality role within manufacturing.
• Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma Certification.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
