Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal productivity. This role includes the repair of automatic assembly equipment, robotic systems, MIG and resistance welding equipment, metal stamping machinery, and laser cutting equipment. The technician may be assigned to various maintenance department functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Document all maintenance work using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and complete assigned work orders.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues; reference blueprints and repair manuals as necessary.
- Clean and lubricate equipment components such as shafts, bearings, and gears.
- Inspect drives, motors, and belts; check fluid levels and replace filters.
- Troubleshoot PLC programs, Field Bus applications, and HMI programs using a laptop.
- Recover and reteach robots as required.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.

- Proficient understanding of AC and DC electrical circuits.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds with assistance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and capable of using specialized testing equipment (DMM, calipers, dial indicators).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Competence in using hand and power tools for equipment repairs.
