POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Systems Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of all DMO projects, utilizing your project management expertise and technical skills. DMO serves as a comprehensive platform for operators to streamline their daily tasks, including Quality and Downtime reporting, through various modules.

As a Manufacturing Systems Specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including corporate product owners, project managers, third-party OEMs, and Nestle departments, to ensure the successful integration of DMO Modules in our factory. Your proactive approach and ability to learn the variety of DMO applications will be essential in developing a deep understanding of the system to create a strong foundation of digital excellence to enable our autonomy and automation advancement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the implementation of all Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO) projects using project management routines and skills. DMO is a one stop shop for operators to perform daily tasks in various modules such as Quality and Downtime reporting through various DMO Modules.
  • DMO connects to other systems such as PLC programs, Wonderware, SAP, and Power BI to help create data reports focusing on efficiency of the factory and identifying systems to be improved for maximizing productivity and efficiency.
  • Lead and collaborate with corporate product owners, corporate project managers, third party OEMs, and Nestle cross-functional departments, such as Engineering, Operations, Quality, and TAG team, for successful implementation of DMO Modules in the factory.
  • Train end users on DMO functionalities through creating simplified and clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the related specific product area.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement such as gaps in existing functionality, troubleshooting, process automation and driving the development of the process. This should be a foundation for opportunities of enhancing ways of working with machine learning tools.
  • Work with Supply Chain, Engineering, and IT team to develop the end-to-end knowledge of process flow, FLOC structure, and information flow between different systems of the factory.
  • Lead, troubleshoot, and determine root cause analysis of issues, bugs, and enhancement needs in DMO modules by integrating with cross-functional departments and implementing appropriate plans for solutions including contingency measures then communicating with stakeholders.
  • Own sustainability of DMO through maintenance of the systems, measures, and risk analysis of upgrade implementations.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • 2 years implementing MES solutions in Manufacturing.
  • 2 years working with multidisciplinary teams to maintain systems and determine root cause analysis of failures, providing operations continuity by keeping the MES working.
  • Must possess an Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree. Strongly preferred focus on Electrical Engineering, Processes or Manufacturing Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • Integration experience with PLCs using STUDIO 5000 and smart devices (for various digital implementation).

SKILLS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, etc.) with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Project management or leading implementation of digital tools showing stakeholder management and task management planning experience preferred.
  • Preferred ability to read Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&IDs).
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and work with SQL databases and Power BI for data reporting.
  • Preferred ability to work with SCADAs (Wonderware and/or factory talk view).
