Additionally, we can help facilitate new packaging production and offer raw material processing and sourcing services.
The maintenance department employees are crucial to the smooth functioning of our facility. We are looking for a qualified candidate who has at least one year of experience in maintenance, specifically with food processing equipment. The ideal candidate should possess a mechanical aptitude to carry out effective repairs to conveying equipment, including maintenance repair.
Maintenance Technician's responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining all the facility and its equipment as well as performing preventative maintenance work; troubleshooting pneumatics, & hydraulics; industrial and electrical maintenance (including 3-wire motor control); and limited welding; all while making safety and food safety the number one priorities. Prior knowledge of GMPs, USDA, FDA, and OSHA regulations is highly desirable.
While performing the duties of a maintenance technician, one must be able to endure tough working conditions, such as intense heat, extreme cold (38 to 42 degree temperatures), strong odors, and slippery floors. There is regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions at varying heights; chemicals and solvents; and moving mechanical parts. The position is fast-paced and requires standing and walking a large of the shift. Will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, and PPE which is required in all areas of the facility. Must be able to work occasional weekends.

- Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance-related subjects
