Manufacturing Engineer Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes for new and existing production lines. This includes identifying and selecting equipment, developing process flows, and creating process documentation. The Manufacturing Engineer will also be responsible for process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing production lines
- Identify and select equipment and tools for manufacturing processes
- Develop process flows and create process documentation
- Conduct process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
- Stay current with industry trends and new manufacturing technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools
- Experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with CAD software is a plus
