Manufacturing Engineer Job at NuHire, LLC in Franklin

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial machinery project management, CAPEX, Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a hands-on approach, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
  • Lead and manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects from inception to completion, including scope definition, budget planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute projects that align with strategic business objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Process Improvement:
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve overall process efficiency.
  • Implement 6S principles to create a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data, identifying root causes, and developing innovative solutions.
• Manufacturing Engineering:
  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and systems to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes.
• Team Leadership:
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on industrial machinery.
• Proven track record in project management, including CAPEX projects.
• Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
