DESAPRO INC is hiring: Manufacturing Specialist in Rockledge

Position Summary

• To assemble finished product using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners according to customer specification, drawings, and company policies
• To perform spot welding using resistance welders/machines

Essential Functions

• Use hands and power tools
• Sets up and operated machines such as drill press, grinders, riveters
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per customer specifications / blueprints
• Checks assembled products, comparing each to customer requirements, blueprints and BOM and Router instructions
• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be spot welded, sets up spot welding machine
• Spot weld materials using adhesives and templates
• Resolves assembly problems and reports other problems to Supervisor for assistance
• Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies
• Support production schedule by safely performing work efficiently

Job qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent degree in a related area
• 5-7 years of experience in the field or in related area
• Experience in intricate hand assembly
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read blueprints
