- SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
- The objective of this role is to improve quality within production to meet our customer's needs and expectations. This role will focus on process and equipment improvements, develop quality control systems and processes, attack quality system failures with effective root cause analysis methods and focus on continuous improvement through effective CAPA.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Participate in the investigation of technical problems, status of testing, the establishment of procedures and CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Actions) to avoid recurrences
- Leads quality related problem solving and root cause analysis in manufacturing
- Conduct supplier & construction surveys, audits, and inspections for system & product conformance to quality requirements
- Coordinate quality initiatives, perform internal audits and updating/writing SOP's, and assist with Quality Senior Specialist with proper training & quality awareness.
- Operate independently, representing the quality organization at major meetings to resolve important issues or to plan work.
- Overall coordinate all related team to find the solution for Non-Conformance & initiates Non-Conformance management loops to reduce scrap and improvement in First Pass Yield (FPY) of manufactured products
- Quality problem identification in the production and test, lead the whole problem solve process to find the root cause and evaluate the effectiveness & follow-up the implementation of action to both the internal and external (customer) teams.
- Work with appropriate groups to identify key quality metrics & help develop any new quality metrics if needed
- Systematic quality data analysis to find the improvement to develop, execute and analyzes quality procedures, standards and measurements
- Promote compliance with Bright Innovation Labs' policies, procedures, quality standards and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), as well as safety and environmental regulations.

- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

- POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
- This is a full-time position. The base days and hours are Monday through Friday, eight (8) hours per day depending on shift assigned.
- TRAVEL
- No travel is expected for this position.
- REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Master's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years in cosmetics, medical device, or pharmaceuticals with Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 1-2 years with Masters in Engineering.
- ASQ, CQE a plus
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards, specifically ISO 22716.
