The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability in collaboration with our project teams.Duties, Responsibilities and Skills:Improve molding and secondary processes by analyzing and planning workflow, machine functionality and equipment layoutEvaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting hands-on assessmentsSolicit observations from operators and setup techniciansDevelop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipmentProvide manufacturing decision making information by calculating production, labor, and material costsConfer with equipment vendorsKeep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and established proceduresAssess compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.Contribute to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.Create and manage process documentation and operating instructionsProvide process documentation and operating instructionsQualifications and Requirements:BS or higher degree in Engineering.Previous working experience as a Process Engineer for 3 yearsWorking knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, metal stamping, automated assemblyWorking knowledge of CAD (Solidworks, Pro-E, Inventor, AutoCad or etc)Excellent communication skills.Lean Manufacturing Tools ApplicationPreferred Qualifications and Skills:Previous experience in zinc diecastingKnowledge of electrical cable, connectors, electrical testingProject Management ExperienceLean Six Sigma CertifiedBilingual - SpanishPrevious experience in quality or business process engineeringSalary Range: $97,920 to $134,640NSI Industries maintains a drug-free workplace and requires all employees to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.NSI Industries is proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.NSI Industries is an equal opportunity employer and, as such, affirms in policy and practice its commitment to recruit, hire, train, and promote, in all job classifications, without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender, age, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, citizenship, eligible veteran status, disability, or any other status protected by law.
