Description:

The primary responsibility of the Senior Manufacturing Sales Manager position is to close stainless-steel vessel B2B sales. Additionally, initiate contact with potential and current customers to generate and qualify leads, learn and promote the company's products, and identify sales opportunities. This role is responsible for meeting monthly and quarterly quotas while building new client bases and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction for existing clients.

  • Have and maintain extensive contacts in liquid process industries that use stainless steel vessels.
  • Prospect and develop business--Possess and use techniques for hunting new contacts, leads, and projects.
  • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities in the stainless-steel vessel market.
  • Quickly build client trust through extensive industry knowledge to solve client’s challenges.
  • Ability to find weaknesses in competitor bids and find unique solutions.
  • Meet with customers as needed to help solve their problems and differentiate our offerings.
  • Establish relationships with potential customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned monthly/quarterly sales quotas and targets.
  • Manage existing customer accounts on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Prepare bids, proposals, and price quotations, which reflect relevant items such as accurate description of the sales terms and product delivery dates. Write orders, obtaining all relevant information and ensure entering of order details into the computer/tracking/coordination systems.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications and Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (engineering degree preferred) or equivalent sales/business experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in tank/mixer vessel or related manufacturing sales.
  • Knowledge/previous sales experience with steel and tank fabrication.
  • Understands the type of tank needed for various processing applications and general understanding of fabrication requirements and the necessary pricing levels to meet market demand and maximize profit.
  • Ability to work independently, but also collaborate in a team-based environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain quality work while under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of Hubspot or other equivalent CRM systems.
  • Ability to work with marketing department to support sales campaigns/objectives.
  • Competence in data entry/lead tracking, engaging in LinkedIn & other various social media.
  • Motivated intrinsically and extrinsically.

Working Conditions


This position routinely uses standard office equipment including but not limited to computers, office copiers, printers, and phone systems. This position will need to visit customers in medium-noise, non- climate controlled facilities with regular exposure to dust and residue. Machinery will be present and in operation.


Hours of work are Monday through Friday, flexible hours, 40+ hours per week. This is a remote position, requiring regular travel to client locations and ICC office locations.
