Job: Customer Service Representative

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service? We are looking for a proactive Customer Service Representative to join our team! In this role, you will manage customer orders and inquiries, ensuring accurate and complete documentation while delivering a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Management:

  • Monitor and respond promptly to customer emails regarding orders and inquiries.
  • Review customer purchase orders to ensure all details—quantities, pricing, and delivery information—are accurate and complete.
  • Cross-reference orders with quotes, attach necessary documentation, and enter orders into the system.
  • Review and update shipment details in customer portals, ensuring accuracy and following up as needed.

2. Customer Communication:

  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues professionally and promptly.
  • Communicate with production teams to gather updates and provide feedback to customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, showcasing a commitment to satisfaction.

3. Documentation and Accuracy:

  • Maintain a detailed checklist to ensure purchase orders are reviewed thoroughly.
  • Ensure all relevant materials, including engineering drawings and specifications, are attached to orders as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer service or a related role.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM tools.
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving skills and a calm, professional demeanor in challenging situations.
  • Familiarity with technical or engineering terminology is a plus but not required.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in customer service or related fields is a plus.
