We are seeking a detail-oriented team member to support our production team with various tasks across departments. You will follow verbal or written instructions from your supervisor or designated personnel to ensure smooth operations in the distribution center/warehouse. This role involves using tools and equipment to complete a sequence of related tasks across different departments. Key Responsibilities Material Handling and Quality Control: Check dimensions of materials before, during, and after processing to ensure they meet specified tolerances. Count, weigh, and separate materials by grade. Verify and package orders according to customer specifications, using appropriate color codes, ID tags, and packaging. Equipment Operation: Operate side loaders, lift trucks, floor-operated overhead cranes, and other equipment to transport materials between workstations. Record Keeping and Data Entry: Maintain accurate production records and use data transmission equipment to enter, send, and receive information. Equipment Maintenance and Cleaning: Regularly lubricate, clean, adjust, and make minor repairs to production equipment. Keep hand tools clean and organized, and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to the supervisor. General Labor Support: Assist with equipment and facility maintenance, and perform other general labor duties as directed. REQUIREMENTS 1-3 years previous manufacturing experience (preferred) Meet requirements on basic math & measuring skills assessment Previous experience with circular saws, grinders, milling machines, lathes, cut off saws and other similar processing equipment, side loader, plate flippers, gas powered lift trucks, forklifts, carts, floor operated overhead crane, skids, scale, tape measure, micrometers, various hand tools, chains, hooks, slings, wood and other packaging materials, stencils, bar press, power nailer, power stapler, power bander, manual bander, plate and bar magnets, calipers, etc. (preferred) #IND275 #ZIP
