QUALIFICATIONS:

·       High school diploma and technical graduate and/or a minimum of 3 years of QC/QA and/or technical experience.

·       Proven skills in using calipers, micrometers, comparator, height gage, and gauge pins for dimensional calculation and analysis of items. 

·       Ability to read and interpret part drawings, blueprints and/or written specifications is required. 

·       Experience with an MRP/ERP system is strongly suggested. 

·       Able to work effectively within a cross-functional team. 

·       Highly motivated self-starter and able to work precise details in a fast-paced environment.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access. 

·       Interpersonal skills to work in a team environment to achieve goals and results. 

·       Good written, oral, and listening skills to clearly convey and receive technical information.

·       Detail and results oriented.

·       Manually able to lift objects up to 30 lbs.

DUTIES:

·       Maintain accurate inspection records ensuring inspection history is maintained.  

·       Perform mechanical and visual inspection of incoming, in-process, final assemblies, and sub-assemblies for conformance to specification utilizing inspection check list, inspection equipment, procedures, work instructions, and standards.

·       Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications. Identify nonconforming material and process using established work procedures.

·       Calibrate/Verify and maintain measuring inspection equipment. 

·       Maintain accurate inspection logbooks.  

·       Continuous review of manufacturing processes and provide process improvements suggestions. 

·       Assist with product transition from engineering development to production.

·       Provide continuous quality feedback to operators and production supervisors.

·       Communicate Quality Alerts to assemblers and supervisors when applicable.

·       Report all assembly work instruction concerns and errors to Quality and Production Management. 

·       Be courteous and helpful when dealing with customers, suppliers and with co-workers.

·       Support compliance with all company rules and regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook. 

·       Possible travel to PACE Maryland facility and vendor sites to perform quality duties as required. 

·       Other duties as assigned by management.
