Position Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and efficient Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing materials on the production line, ensuring accurate counts, and maintaining a smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will be capable of meeting performance metrics related to shipping and receiving rates, and should have the required skills to handle physical tasks and use relevant software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stocking Line: Ensure that production lines are properly stocked with necessary materials to maintain continuous operation.
• Material Counts: Conduct accurate line and material counts to ensure inventory levels are maintained and discrepancies are addressed.
• Receiving Materials: Oversee the receiving of materials, ensuring correct quantities and conditions upon arrival.
• Material Replacement: Clear out and replace materials as needed to prevent production delays.
• Packaging Removal: Efficiently clear away packaging and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Performance Indicators:

• Achieve a shipping rate of 100 items per day or a receiving rate of 150 items per day.

Required Skills:

1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
2. Proficiency in reading and following English language instructions.
3. Experience with shipping software; prior experience with UPS World Ship software is preferred.
4. Capable of meeting performance metrics for shipping and receiving rates.

Preferred Skills:

1. Prior experience with UPS World Ship software.
2. Proficiency in using small tools related to the shipping process.
3. High accuracy in labeling and documentation.
