Eugene Treatment Center is looking for a Certified Phlebotomist who will provide compassionate, professional care to our clients.
Hiring bonus of $5,000 paid out in increments.

Eugene Treatment Center is an adult outpatient opioid treatment program/substance abuse treatment provider focused on treating those suffering from an addiction to opioids (pain pills, heroin, fentanyl, morphine, etc.) through a combination of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with either methadone or buprenorphine/suboxone, and intensive one-on-one and group counseling, all in an outpatient setting.
Our treatment center hours are M-F 5AM-1PM and rotating Sat 6AM-11AM.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Performs laboratory procedures according to lab policies, standard operating procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
- Collects urine specimens, uploads into electronic medical records, and inform counselor that test is complete.
- Performs blood draws competently and efficiently with minimum discomfort.
- Responsible for maintenance of all medical supplies and supplies needed for phlebotomy procedures and alerts supervisor for orders to ensure adequate inventory.
- Utilizes proper PPE and applies standard precautions according to the CDC prevention guidelines.
- Also communicates any recognized abnormality in a client's signs and symptoms to individuals who are authorized to receive the information and need to know.
- Functions as a backup for the administrative coordinator role as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Licensure and or certified as a Certified Phlebotomist or equivalent training and education to successfully complete competency assessment.
- CPR Certified.
- Meet state requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
- Current driver's license.
- Working knowledge of dosing equipment, centrifuge, monitoring equipment for physical assessment, test strips, breathalyzers, EKGs, and other medical equipment.
- Demonstrate team efforts such as helping others when needed, and provides supportive feedback to team.
