Purpose The Faculty/Physician Recruiter will steward the process of hiring top talent for faculty positions across all specialties within the Dell Medical School and UT Health Austin. This position will be responsible for all aspects of a search including research, candidate generation and development, complex offer negotiations, and onboarding while delivering best in class service. The Faculty/Physician Recruiter role is expected to think broadly and implement strategies to engage, assess, and close top talent to help Dell Med and UT Health Austin obtain its strategic goals. Responsibilities Collaborate with departmental and school leadership and hiring committees to thoroughly understand their specific needs, ensuring a comprehensive grasp of the desired candidate profile and requirements. Lead the end-to-end full-cycle recruitment process for a variety of faculty positions. As needed, prepare detailed search updates, attend meetings with search chair and committee presenting the search status. Ensure timely communication/presentation of candidate materials to key stakeholders. Strategize various sourcing strategies to identify and attract high-caliber candidates, including direct sourcing, networking, and leveraging industry connections. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor insights, and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve the hiring process and drive innovation. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified talent to support current and future hiring needs. Establish and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management. Manage candidate expectations, provide timely feedback, and ensure that candidates have a positive recruiting experience, regardless of the outcome. Assist other physician/faculty recruiter to develop, maintain and monitor written recruitment processes, procedures, and metrics ensuring effective and efficient recruitment operations. Conducts post search reviews and creates recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful search elements for ongoing process improvement. Work with the HR Academic Faculty Affairs to ensure accuracy and alignment on rank and professional track of the desired candidate. Other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of sourcing and recruiting experience. Self-starter with the ability to perform and work with little or no direct supervision. Experience managing multiple, conflicting deadlines and priorities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. Demonstrated excellent analytical skills, problem solving ability, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and flexibly in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and respond tactfully, clearly, and concisely. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills. Professional demeanor with tact and respect at all times. Ability to address individuals and information with a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality in various delicate, formal, or urgent situations. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications Sourcing and recruiting experience with a strong emphasis on faculty.
