Primary Responsibilities: Manages metrics and data to create reports and presentations about product and business data findings using charts, graphs, tables, and other visuals to represent data in a way stakeholders can easily understand. Is a subject matter expert on key metrics and user data and can craft strong strategic product recommendations. Performs analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data to state trends, patterns, and predictions related to user behavior, product usage, and market trends. Collaborates with product teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and build metrics that measure the impact of new products on customers. Develops measurement plans and interactive dashboards that create business insights through product data. Design and oversee A/B tests to measure the impact of new features and improvements. Executes large strategic and high-profile initiatives, creating holistic work across product portfolios and not just individual projects. Acts as a coach/mentor within their team and in the Product Org and should be widely recognized as a go-to person for data-related inquiries and storytelling. Monitors product health and product performance over their lifecycle and across the learner journey. Gathers and analyzes learner feedback through surveys or polls using Pendo. Develops and oversees small to medium-scale product analytics projects. Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong SQL skills and ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries. Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities. Experience with business and product usage analytics. Able to glean insights from data and craft a compelling story in presentation form. Comfortable working across functions and teams to gather data. Understand customer personas, market segments, and cohorts. The ability to think strategically and understand how data helps with problem-solving. Creative, good-natured, and passionate about data and its support/guidance for the WGU mission. Ability to manage and report data on several products and initiatives simultaneously. Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience performing cohort analysis, A/B testing, retention analysis, heat mapping, funnel analysis, session replay, and user survey. Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations. Ability to learn new applications and platforms as needed. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Design teams, and making technical decisions related to A/B testing, project prioritization, development, and monitoring. Pay Range: $88,300.00 - $132,400.00
