DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
The Impact you will have in this role:
Global Security Management is responsible for all facets of DTCC's physical security and life safety program with emphasis on developing, defining, and implementing industry standard processes to safeguard against threats and risks to DTCC employees, facilities, business enterprise, and assets. The global security team remains abreast of world events, unexpected crises, natural disasters, and geopolitical instability to identify, communicate, and allocate resources to mitigate potential risks and threats to DTCC. Corporate Security focuses on the physical security controls and processes that ensures the security guarding operations, security alarm & closed circuit television (CCTV) / Video Surveillance systems monitoring and mobile response, visitor management and mail screening processing. Corporate Security provides on-site security services, ensuring the overall safety and security of DTCC personnel, facilities and assets.
Your Primary Responsibilities: Enforce the rules, regulations, and procedures of DTCC to control access, prevent trespassing, and prevent loss or damage to persons or property on premise.
Assist with ensuring the safety and security of all staff and guests on site. Ensure that security posts are properly staffed and inspects such posts on a regular basis.
Manage the corporate security team and ensures that corporate security officers enforce regulations and procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that security services are properly provided. Oversee and supervise Security Operation Center (SOC) or Security Control Center Environment.
Experience using security related systems, including an incident report management system, two-way radios, and visitor management systems.
Adhere to written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities while also ensuring that the corporate security team follows these standards.
Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and ensures that risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, supervised, and reported.
Serve as a resource to corporate security management on special projects or broader security impacting assignments.
Supervises the security and safety to property and delivery access at entry gates, turnstiles, and visitor lobbies.
Provide information and direction to employees, visitors, and contractors. Supervise the corporate security operations to DTCC's property by preventing trespassing, theft, vandalism, and criminal activities.
Supports responses to emergency incidents. Assists first responders, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, and other emergency services providers. Provides response and resolution to critical incidents and other security issues.
Position is required to be physically in the office.
Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; advances appropriately.
Qualifications: Entry Level - internship experience highly preferred
Bachelor's degree required.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. About the Team
Our Risk Management teams work to protect the safety and soundness of our systems and are responsible for identifying, managing, measuring and mitigating a spectrum of key risk types including credit, market, liquidity, systemic, operational and technology in all existing and new products, activities, processes and systems.
The Global Security Management department provides a general and specialized work force to enforce the rules, regulations, and procedures of DTCC. Responsible for the protection of all DTCC assets, to include the protection of data processing and telecommunications equipment, and to provide a safe and secure workplace for employees.
