We are hiring Security System Designers. The work will focus on designing and specifying security access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the preparation and delivery of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) design documentation including drawings and specification of security systems including access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, emergency communications and duress alerting systems using Revit with and AutoCAD. Preparing program requirements and basis of design reports Comprehensive coordination with clients, owners, and design team members Facilitating/Attending design/coordination meetings and providing meeting input and documentation Review and approve shop drawings and product data submittals and responding to RFIs Conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with contract documents, field coordination of installation work; reviewing and analyzing test results Perform site surveys; document and submit project field observations Perform additional assignments as requested/needed QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of experience in security system design and/or integration Experience with building structured cabling and audio-visual systems preferred Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to assist with project management Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, AutoCAD, and Revit application software Ability to complete construction documents including drawings and specifications Ability to review submittals, answer RFI's, and perform field observation CPP or PSP certification is a plus
