Job Description:

• Markets Tax Information Reporting (TIR) is responsible for IRS Tax reporting across multiple workstreams and legal entities. Global Markets Inc., a US Financial Institution and one of the legal entities that conducts this reporting.
• The volume of client accounts and transactions is significant and with the processes a mix of manual and systemic, there can at times be reconciliation differences during the year-end tick-back process.
• The analyst will work with the TIR Subject Matter Expert (SME) to perform a data reconciliation of past financial filing years in order to pick up any differences that could give rise to incorrect tax reporting or potentially under/over withholding of US taxes.
