We are looking to hire a part time Licensed Dental Assistant to help our office on FRIDAYS who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in the Pediatric Dental field!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Present the patient to the doctor.
- Clean the patient’s teeth.
- Fluoride application
- Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic).
- Provide hygiene and diet education.
- Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office or hospital.
- Take impressions.
- Schedule follow-up exams.
- Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately.
- Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.
- Parents consults-discuss treatment plans.
- Clean and sterilize instruments.
- Lab work.
- Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area.
- Help decorate office for birthdays and holidays.
- Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.
- Write letters to be sent to referrals.
