Description of the Role:

Genesis of Charlotte is seeking a skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our team. As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing luxury Genesis vehicles according to company standards. You will work closely with our service team to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and uphold our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and malfunctions
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on Genesis vehicles
• Repair and replace faulty parts and components
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, and services
• Document repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a Master Technician or similar role
• Extensive knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time

Job Summary:
Genesis of Charlotte is seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team in Matthews, North Carolina. This is a full-time, salaried position in the Auto industry, offering competitive compensation of $22 to $43 per hour. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This is an individual contributor role, but you will also work closely with our team of technicians and service advisors to provide quality service to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently, following manufacturer's specifications
- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain recommended repairs and obtain approval
- Keep accurate records of all services performed and recommendations made
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and educational opportunities

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Must have own tools
